Privacy Policy

This policy describes Vibe Music Share’s member playlist features when enabled, alongside our public demo library. Read it with our Terms & Conditions and AI model disclosure.

1. Information you provide

Sign-in services provide an account identifier and may provide a name, email address and basic profile information. We do not receive your Google or Microsoft password. We use an account-specific identifier to keep your library separate from other members.

Your taste profile includes the genres, singing languages, vocal styles, energy, rhythm, optional tempo and key, lyric themes, mood, exclusions and occasion notes you choose. We also store whether you enabled daily songs and your timezone. Mood and occasion answers are optional personal context, not medical information we ask you to disclose. Avoid names, confidential information or sensitive personal details that are unnecessary for a song.

We store submitted musical directions and lyrics, generated recordings, queue status, separate music and lyric ratings, optional feedback reasons and sharing choices. Hosting and identity providers also process technical and security information such as IP addresses, request times, browser details and sign-in events. We process support messages you send us.

2. How personalization works

The writing assistant uses your chosen preferences to draft original lyrics and musical directions. Music feedback adjusts preferences for sound features such as genre, voice, language, energy, groove, tempo and key. Lyric feedback separately adjusts themes and emotional tone. Selecting a feedback reason makes that update more specific. We keep some variety in future choices; a rating is not a guarantee of what every later song will contain.

These preference summaries shape later prompts. This workflow does not train or fine-tune the underlying model weights on your account. We do not infer a medical diagnosis or mental-health status from your music choices. Mood and occasion requests provide the context you explicitly choose for a song.

3. Generation and daily requests

Submitting onboarding saves a profile and queues ten initial songs. If you enable daily songs, a worker can add one new request per local calendar day after your initial playlist starts becoming available. You can pause daily songs from your music page. Pausing prevents new automatic requests; work already queued can still finish. A moment-specific request does not replace your long-term mood preference.

Generation runs on operator-controlled computers. The worker retrieves private queued requests from Azure and sends the relevant musical preferences, feedback context and writing instructions to an operator-controlled Qwen server over our private Tailscale network. The returned lyrics and prompts guide MiniMax-Music3 or ACE-Step on the music computer, which uploads finished recordings to private Azure storage. This local workflow does not submit your prompts to those developers’ hosted generation APIs. See the model page for model identities and licensing disclosures.

4. Storage and service providers

Microsoft Azure hosts the website, account-related service connections, taste profiles, feedback, queued requests and private audio. The configured member storage region is West US 2 in the United States. Identity providers may process sign-in data in additional locations under their own practices. The operator’s computers also process working prompts and lyrics, and the music computer stores audio needed to process requests and diagnose failures. Depending on where you live, processing may occur outside your country.

Google and Microsoft handle their respective sign-in flows. Service providers may process technical information required for delivery, reliability and security. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or when needed to protect the service and address misuse.

5. Public playlist sharing

Your playlist is private until you enable sharing. Enabling sharing lists your playlist in Discover and lets anyone access the playlist’s completed song titles, lyrics, model names and audio. You can appear anonymously or under a name or handle you choose. Your sign-in name is not automatically published. The sharing endpoint does not include your taste profile, ratings, queue details or occasion notes. However, a song’s lyrics may reflect the context used to create it; listen and read before sharing.

You can disable sharing. Your playlist is removed from Discover and new playlist access is then denied, while previously issued temporary audio links may remain usable for up to one hour. Disabling sharing cannot recall a recording someone already downloaded or copied. Public demo recordings remain publicly accessible and are separate from member libraries.

Private studio chat and preferences

Your private conversation with Mira is saved to your account and processed by our operator-controlled Qwen server over the private Tailscale network. The request includes your musical preferences, scored feedback, remembered direction and recent conversation. When you enable automatic creation, an explicit request to make a song can add one recording to your queue. Casual conversation and requests for lyrics alone do not authorize an audio recording. Mira can remember musical preferences you state and learn tentative preferences from your song ratings and feedback. We record the supporting message or feedback with these updates so learned preferences can be revised. You can inspect, edit or remove remembered notes; learned feedback does not override preferences you explicitly saved. Temporary moods and one-song requests are kept separate from lasting preferences. We save independent musical and lyrical ratings, optional feedback notes, and the preference snapshot used for each generation. Requested musical properties are not measurements of the actual audio. We do not use musical preferences to infer sensitive personal traits.

The preview keeps up to 60 conversation turns per member. You can clear the conversation or edit and remove remembered notes. Clearing chat does not remove preferences already applied or the recipes for existing songs; contact support for broader account-data deletion. Your chat, personal preferences and feedback are not exposed through member playlist links.

Search and similarity

We use a WeMM embedding model hosted on our private inference server to turn song descriptions, lyrics and musical directions into numerical search representations. PostgreSQL stores the application records, and ChromaDB holds a derived search index. These representations help find related material; they are not model training and do not measure the actual sound of a recording. Search access follows your account permissions.

Song notifications and the installed app

If you enable song notifications, we store this device’s browser push endpoint and encryption keys with your account, along with delivery status. We use your browser’s push provider, such as Apple, Google or Mozilla, to deliver encrypted completion alerts. Notification text is generic and does not include your lyrics, song title or an audio download link. Your device and its push provider process delivery information under their own privacy policies.

Notifications are optional. Turn them off in Your Music or your browser/device settings. Signing out alone does not revoke the device subscription. We remove subscriptions when you turn them off here or the provider reports that they expired. The installed app caches only a public offline screen and icons; its service worker does not cache private recordings or account responses. Saving drafts, opening your library and playing uncached recordings require an internet connection.

Voice dictation

Microphone dictation is optional and starts only when you click the microphone and grant browser permission. Your browser or its speech-recognition provider may process the audio under its own privacy policy. Vibe does not receive or store the microphone recording through this feature; you review and send the resulting text as a normal chat message. Dictation availability depends on your browser and device.

6. Cookies and local browser data

Authentication services use cookies or equivalent storage to maintain secure sessions. Before you finish onboarding, questionnaire progress is stored temporarily in this browser tab’s session storage, scoped to your signed-in account, for up to a day of inactivity. It is cleared after successful submission. Preference edits to an existing profile stay in page memory until saved; the saved profile and feedback are associated with your account in server-side storage, not only with one browser. Our member feature does not add advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

7. Retention and security

We retain your account-related profile, ratings, requests and recordings to provide the library, support personalization and address legitimate security or legal needs. The preview currently limits each member library to 200 songs. This limit is not an automatic deletion schedule. Local working files and service logs can persist for troubleshooting. You can request account-data deletion at the contact address below; identity providers maintain their own records under their retention policies.

We use HTTPS, account ownership checks, private audio storage and time-limited read links. Browser users do not receive Azure storage credentials or the local music server key. No service can guarantee perfect security. We may retain information that must be kept to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

8. Your choices

You can edit your taste profile, change or clear ratings, pause daily songs, control playlist sharing, sign out, and manage connected-app permissions through your identity provider. Revoking a provider connection does not automatically delete previously stored Vibe data. Contact us for access, correction or deletion requests; we may need to verify your identity before acting.

Features described as unavailable remain unavailable until enabled. Material changes to these processing practices will be described here, with additional notice or consent where required.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us.
